PolicyChat Life places life insurance as a licensed agency. This page lists the licensing facts we can document, exactly as they are recorded, and nothing more. You can verify any license number with the insurance department of the state that issued it, or through the NIPR public lookup.

What Sage is and is not

Sage is software. It is not a licensed agent, and its estimates are not quotes. When you are ready, a licensed PolicyChat Life agent takes over your application and the carrier underwrites and issues the policy. Our Terms of Use explain the limits of an estimate and a pre-qualification.

If something goes wrong, email hello@policychat.com first and we will work to put it right. You always have the right to contact the insurance department of your state as well.
